Using the Power of Story to Advocate for the Most Critical 21st Century Skills - The "4C's" - Plus 1

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join twin brothers Peter H. Reynolds and Paul Reynolds as they challenge educators to incorporate the 4 C's plus 1, in their approach to teaching and learning:   Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, plus one - Compassion.   They share their short film, "Above and Beyond" along with a sneak peak of a new book called “Going Places". This fable helps show that content mastery with the 4 C's plus 1 can provide students with the "wings" they need to meet the demands of higher education, career, and life in a global society and world economy. In addition, hear about Peter's ‘essentials’ that foster creativity and innovation in the classroom. Participants leave with a renewed sense of engagement and a practical list of tools to tackle this challenge.
