Suzy Rabbat is a school library media consultant in the Chicago area. After 16 years of classroom teaching experience, spanning grades Kindergarten through eight, she completed a Master’s of Library and Information Science Degree and shifted her instructional focus to research and technology. She served as a K-5 school librarian for nine years before taking on the role of district coordinator of the Arlington Heights School District 25 library media program, comprised of seven elementary and two middle schools.
Suzy is the creator of The Information Explorer Series published by Cherry Lake Publishing. These informational texts are targeted for Grades 3 through 6 and address information, media, and technology literacy skills. She is the author of six of the seventeen titles in the series.Other publications include a chapter in Navigating the Information Tsunami: Engaging Research Projects That Meet the Common Core State Standards K-5.
